I'm excited to share these images from a beyond fun session this week. I know I'm behind on blogging, but baby bellies take precedence as they don't last very long. I'll catch up eventually! :)

Ashlea is one of the coolest people I know. There is no doubt in my mind that her kid is going to be beyond awesome too. Ashlea has graced this blog a number of times and I'm so happy that we had the opportunity to get together before her little one arrives.

Late spring is my favorite time of year here in Tennessee. The leaves are just BURSTING with bright greens and I can't think of a more beautiful time to capture Ashlea and her beautiful baby bump. The gender of the baby is a surprise (how fun!). Only a few more weeks until we find out. Ahh! As the anticipation heats up, this soon-to-be Mama sure knows how to work it. We finished off our date with some seriously amazing gelato at Milk & Honey. Lavender and hibiscus anyone?

You are absolutely stunning, my dear. Thanks for being so lovely, as always.

Tony + Tracy + Sam + Grandpa | Family | Orange County, CA

Heyyy there friends!

Today I have the pleasure of sharing some very special photos today. Before we left California last month, Jonathan's second cousin (who helped plan this awesome session) asked us to do a photoshoot of her family. We went to a local park and had a blast running around (and up and down hills). Little Sam has so much energy I think we were all exhausted by the end! His favorite thing IN THE WORLD is Pixar's movie Cars, and all things related (note the Car's cup towards the end). He's a great little talker and gives the sweetest hugs. The last few shots with Grandpa are absolutely precious, if I do say so myself. :)

Angelina + Gabriel + Julia | Family | Orange County, CA

I'm very excited to share this very special family session. One of my cousin-once-removed-in-laws (haha) hired me to take pictures of her best friends kids as a surprise birthday present! So the five of us ran around (more like she and I ran around chasing the kids) like crazy people in the GORGEOUS California weather we've been having. From the playground, to picnic benches, to cups of hot cocoa we had a blast. Mom called half way through and I had to quietly (this was hard) wrangle the kids while cousin kept the decoy going. See, she thought the kids were going horseback riding — hence the cute boots! Anyway, these kids have eyes like I've NEVER seen, and I had a blast photographing them. I hope you enjoy. And Happy Birthday Nicole!  And seriously, don't forget to check out their eyes!
